Now, here’s what to expect once you’ve got your delivery appointment set:

1–2 days before your delivery, you’ll get an email with your assigned 1–3 hour delivery window.

The morning of delivery, we’ll text you a tracking link so you can follow the truck as it gets closer. You’ll also get a call or text from the crew when they’re on the way — and again when they arrive.

Depending on your service type:

  • Main Entrance Service – Be ready to meet the crew outside your building when they get there.

  • Room Service – Meet the crew at your building’s entrance and walk them to your room.

Once everything’s delivered, our team will snap a quick photo to confirm your items are in place — and then they’ll be off to the next stop.

Don't know your delivery date yet?

No worries — we don’t expect you to know where you’ll be living or when you’ll need your items when you first sign up. We won’t ask for delivery info at that point.

Once your pickup is complete and your invoice is paid, you’ll be able to log into your Storage Squad account and schedule your delivery. That’s when you’ll enter your address and preferred delivery date.

Important Fall Info:
If you’re scheduling a delivery before the school year starts, make sure to choose your date by:

  • July 20th for general fall storage

  • August 4th for pre-semester campus deliveries

This helps avoid delays or extra fees.

Requesting a specific delivery time

You can request a specific 3-hour delivery window for $75, as long as your time hasn’t already been set.

Available options:

  • Morning: 9am – 12pm

  • Afternoon: 1pm – 4pm

Need to reschedule your delivery window?

No problem — just make sure it’s at least 72 hours before your current delivery date. A $75 rescheduling fee will apply.

To reschedule:

  1. Log in at storagesquad.com

  2. Select your order

  3. Scroll to Delivery Information

  4. Choose your new preferred date

  5. Submit the form

You’ll get a confirmation email 24–48 hours before your new delivery.

Do I have to be there for delivery?
Can I have someone else there for me?

You’ve got options — you don’t have to be there yourself if that’s tricky.

Option 1: Unattended Drop-Off

We can leave your items at your building’s entrance, just like a UPS or Amazon delivery.
To enable this:

  • Log in at storagesquad.com

  • Open your order and scroll to Delivery Information

  • Set Drop-Off Permissions to “Drop them off unattended if you cannot reach me”

  • Submit your changes

Option 2: Friend or Roommate

Someone else can meet our crew during your delivery window.
Just update:

  • “Who will meet our crew?” to “A friend/roommate/parent”

  • Add their phone number

  • Submit the form

Can I pickup my items from the storage facility?

For safety and security reasons, we’re unable to offer direct pick-ups or drop-offs at our warehouse.
But no worries — you can always schedule a delivery for part or all of your order, whenever you’re ready.

What to Expect on Delivery Day

We’ll send you an email 24–48 hours before your scheduled delivery or pickup with a specific time window.

Don’t worry if we don’t arrive right at the start of that window — it’s designed to allow for things like traffic or delays at earlier appointments.

Our crews typically begin deliveries around 8–9 a.m. and work throughout the day.

If you can’t be there in person, no problem! You can always:

  • Have a friend meet our crew, or

  • Give us permission to leave your items unattended — free of charge.

Brandeis, George Washington University, & Penn State Pre-Arrival

If you’re returning to campus housing at Brandeis, George Washington University, Penn State, or Emory this fall, good news — your delivery is handled before you even arrive.

We work directly with university housing teams and security staff to safely deliver your items straight to your room. That means your things are already waiting for you when you walk through the door — no heavy lifting, no scheduling, no stress.

Here’s how it works:

  • We’re the official storage partner for all four universities.

  • Once your housing assignment is confirmed, we coordinate directly with campus officials — even if last-minute changes happen.

  • Campus Security escorts our delivery teams through each building and locks up behind us to keep your belongings safe and secure.

You’ll receive an email with your assigned housing info for verification.
